Hi guys. I was just wondering, is it worth it to swap out the dell stock thermal pads? If so, can someone point me in the direction of somewhere to purchase premium thermal pads?

    Thanks guys!

If you're thinking about swapping it, might as well go for copper shims instead with some thermal paste wedged inbetween the heatsink and core, you'd most likely get better results.

He's probably talking about the pads for the GDDR chips... in this case thermal pads is the better solution than a mess with copper and paste imo.

Most thermal pads you find on the web have between 2 and 6 W/mK thermal conductivity... you can get them on frozencpu for example and you should be fine with them.

mxm-upgrade has some in store with an unbelievable 17W/mK thermal conductivity... but they're pretty expensive imo.
