I found a really good deal on a Dell Precision M4400 w/ a WXGA panel, and I am considering buying it as a project and upgrading the screen to a Single-CCFL WUXGA. I'd like the panel to be glossy in order to make it look somewhat like my main M4400's display in terms of general aesthetics.

I know one of the WXGA displays compatible with the M4400 is the Samsung LTN154AT09, and I'd like to know if the LG LP154WU1(A1)(K3) would be a possible replacement using the same inverter and display cable. (I can buy a new inverter if necessary though, because I know many laptops such as the IBM T4x series used different inverters for different resolutions.)

I believe the LP154WU1(A1)(K3) is also compatible with the XPS M1530, and researching the displays of the M1530 is where I found that model number.

And if I decide to go WSXGA+ instead, would the LG LP154WE2(TL)(A3) (mentioned here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo-ibm/559554-i-replaced-my-t500-lcd-new-glossy-screen.html) be compatible? I might go WSXGA+ just for the sake of having one of the only 1680x1050 M4400's out there.
