    i have a alienware m5550 and want to upgrade its current card (x1400m) to a 9600m gt i know for the 8600m u have to change the bios but do i have to do anything for the 9600?

    so i would have to change the bios to 2.06?do you know anyone who upgraded their m5550 with a 9600m gt?i wanna know what they had to do before i dont anything

    really speaking , since ur using MXM , u don't have to change BIOS... u do have to uninstall the present ATI cards drivers , remove the card, replace with 9600M GT and install NVDIA drivers... u might want to update the BIOS just in case but u really don't have to.
