    Hi guys (and girls), I'm wondering whether you other 'beast' owners (either single or newer dual core turion) have heard whether Clevo will provide DX10 updates for our lappies. As I understand it, Clevo does not provide MXM format video cards(i.e. ours are not MXM compatible) , and there may be power considerations. Still waiting for an 8800m GTX or whatever it is (one year later). Not for the horsepower (turion pos is still the bottleneck) but for DX10 goodies.

    it claims on a couple of sites the 8700gt will not ever be supplied in SLI, cant imagine why, but hypersonic has a directx 10 sli setup coming for laptops on their webby. wai bout a month or two to get some confromation

    Thanks for the heads up - I won't deal with Hypersonic again, but then again maybe if they were wookies...even IF they lived in NJ...
