Hello all, been a while since I posted here as I haven't had the time to play around much with upgrading laptop hardware since before Windows 10 hit mainstream.
So as the title states. I just upgraded to a 780m, used the modded inf and the latest drivers from Nvidia.
With optimus enabled, I can install the drivers etc, but the Nvidia graphics never activate, even after forcing certain applications to run with Nvidia, and adding the right click choose graphics option in games. It only runs off the intel HD?
if I turn off switchable graphics in the bios I have to reinstall the drivers(?) and the 780m works fine but obviously at the cost of battery life (20-30% which is one of the reasons why I went with an M6800 to begin with).
Is there a bug I am not aware of in windows 10?
Semi related question, but I am still running in test mode, can I turn it off once the drivers are installed?
