    HI,

Found a cheap used MSI 1060M from removed from a dead MSI - GE73 Raider RGB 8RE (dead mobo, apparently all good with GPU). with part number ms-1w0u1.

Would this work an a Clevo P170EM? Does anyone has experience on this genre of upgrade that could share some wisdom?

    Cheers
    Jorge

Should work with a 120HZ display, or optimus enabled

If you can enable optimus (iGPU) should work in theory, there might be a guide already in these forums

Yes the card will work with a .inf driver mod, assuming the card is functional.

Optimus is always on by default.

nope, not too late at all, and a pertinent question. I checked online and could not find a reference to a mxm card on the GE...
better double check with the seller...
