    HI,
i am planning on getting a Laptop - either MSI EX600, or Dell Inspiron 1525 with 2Ghz core 2 duo.

what i am really asking here, is is it possible to upgrade the MSI EX600 CPU to a better cpu in like 1-2 years from today.
my plan is to the the T5250, and in 1-2 years upgrade to the latest model supported by the MSI motherboard.

but i am not sure wether the bios will support it and wether the accual Motherboard is capable of upgrade.

    questions:
    1) is it possible to upgrade to a 45nm core2duo processor like they indicate in MSI website, under the specifications of the MSI EX600.

    2) can i upgrade alone, or do i have to send it to the manufacturer?

    thanks

Yes peryn CPU will be compatible with the santa rosa chipset (the one at the moment). But anything later I have no idea. Also upgrading the CPU usually voids the warranty.
