    MSI GT627 upgradeable graphic card?

    Hello guys,

    would it be possible to put, for example, a 260m GTX in a GT627?

    It looks like the slots are the same, if yo ucompare the 9800 gs and the 260m, but i heard that the mobile graphic cards from msi use a special bios.


    Would be nice if anyone coudl answer my question.


    Please no debate about sense etc. (-:

    Kaltmond, you put a FX3700M in your clevo, was it a clevo card or from another laptop?

    Also also want to know why the GF 9800GS looks like a MXM IV card but fits in a MXMIII slot. Only because its just a MXMIII card with a HE-stick but why does it fit? Why is the HE-slot not needed on the 9800gs? Because it uses lower voltage then the 260m?
