Hey, I just received my GX 630 and i realized that the DX diagnostic indicates that I have 3gb ram but when I right click the My Computer icon and check out the properties it says that I have 4 gb. I just want to know if it is Vista that is eating up 1gb of ram or if I got scammed.

Probably due to Vista, else even if 4gb installed on your system, and Vista 32bit installed, it gonna use around 3gb of ram only, If its 64bit Vista then it will use full 4 gb of ram.
