    MXM 3.0 GTX 280m.. Where to buy (UK)?

    Hello.

    I know MXM 3.0 cards are not really sold, but does anyone know where to buy an MXM 3.0 nVidia GTX 280m card? I wish to buy one to install it in an M865ETU..

    Also, I know RJTech sell them, but I am looking for somewhere in the UK or Europe to avoid hefty tax bills!

    You need a MXM 2.1 Type III, not MXM 3.0. 3.0 is only for new notebooks like M980NU etc.

    Where can I buy one? :p

    Also, the card I am looking at on RJTech.com is an 280m GTX from an M570TU.. On Clevo's website the M860TU uses MXM Type III where as the M570TU uses MXM Type III Modular. What's the difference? Will this card be compatible or where would I have to buy a 280m GTX that will be compatible with an M860TU or M865TU..

    The 280 in M57 will fit in M86, you just need a proper heatsink for 280 in M86.

    By proper heatsink you mean the same one used on an 260m or 9800 GTS?
