Hi guys, hope this is in the correct section, couldn't see where else it could go. I have an Windows 7 laptop and a flash drive called 'Formac Disk Mini 120 GB'. This is for mac computers. Is there a way that I can get it to work on my Windows 7 laptop? At the moment it doesn't even recognise that there's anything there. It says it is installing the driver and then says that it is complete but when I click on Computer to see my other drives it hasn't picked it up so I cannot open it. Is there a file that I can download that lets me view mac files on windows as my laptop is new and I want to copy all my files from my old win laptop to my new one but the flash drive I think is designed for macs so need to now how I can change that. Thanks.

Do you have data on this drive?

If you can get that data off, format the drive as FAT32, copy your data back on and then you should be able to see your files on both O/S's.

To format the drive as FAT32, put it in you Win7 notebook, right click Computer, select Manage, select the Disk Management option on the left hand side and find the Formac Disk Mini. Then, right click and Quick Format as FAT32.

    Good luck.

The Windows machine won't read HFS+ volumes natively. You have to add support. Try HFSExplorer. It works and it's free. :)
