My macbook pro 15 inch early 2011 is making weird noises. Performance hasn't really changed that much but it's REALLY annoying when I'm working.

Although this is not urgent, I would appreciate quick help.

Sounds like system fan bearing gone bad.

Any chance of getting it repaired for under 10 bucks?

If you're under warranty or have AppleCare, it should be done for free by an authorized store. Otherwise, probably not. You'd be looking at probably about $50 for a replacement fan, not counting any labor charge if you don't fancy installing it yourself.
