I have a 2gb stick that was ordered for my mbp, would it fit on my t60 thinkpad? If I stick it (2gb 667 stick) with a 1gb 533 ram stick, would it still give the best performance? Would it cause any problems?

The 3GB would give you an increase in performance when running RAM intensive tasks.
