    I am a heavy but regular user. Surf, a little photo, email word, etc. DO not need much storage and have the external in my sig for that. I like a fast rig but do not benchmark. I go by feel.

    Be sure to tell us how it feels, and at least run WEI to see how far into the 7s your SSD gets, if you put the SSD in the HP. I've got a Nova 64 sitting here, waiting for the computer that was ordered five weeks ago...

    I've never understood the point of the i5 6xx series. For just a little more money, you can take an i5 750, overclock it, and achieve the same or better performance in any task.
