    Hi everyone,
I got a laptop with 8400M GS sometime ago. To put it short, I thought that is it possible to mod the card so that its memory can run at 128-bit bandwidth insead of the pianful 64-bit?
I didnt just dream of this idea, after looking up the Nvidia website, i found that the 8400M GT uses 128-bit. and all the 8400M series useses the SAME core, so I thoght this may be possible.

As i currently cannot switch on any special effects or run into smoke screen in COD4 (at 1280x1024 res), or else my FPS will drop from 50 to 19 :( ...which I thought is caused by the low memory bandwidth.

Is this idea possibel??? Thank a lot :) :) :)

thx for the quick reply....sad...just wondering y Nvidia is so dumb to maufacture another 64-bit card? Its obvious that this card will not be able to paly any Dx 10 games with this low bandwidth....
