Hi I have a dv9410us from HP and I was wondering it says that it can hold a maximum of 2gb on the HP site but I was reading some reviews on newegg on ram and they said how you can put up to 4gb on the dv9000 series since it has two slots it will hold it no problem is that true any experiences????

    thanx

Perhpas it depends on your BIOS version. Older BIOS versions may only support up to 3 GBs. But I think WinXP only supports up to 4GB.

XP only 3. Vista something insane like 16. If it has two slots, it OUGHT to be able to support 4. But, as Mayz said, it depends upon your BIOS. If you buy from Newegg, you can return the product, even if it's opened.
