    Hello,
I have a question, what are the max temps for my lappy?
I have an Asus A6Km with AMD Turion MT-32 processor and 512 MB's of ram, my videocard is an Nvidia Geforce Go 7300(OC'ed to 446/806 MHZ)
My CPU is idle about 54C and my videocard is idle 59C,
When i run CPU Burn In Test for 5 minutes the CPU temp reaches 65C(100% stressed for 5 minutes)
My videocard is stressed about the 64C.

    Are these good temps?
or is my cpu/gpu running to hot?
What are the max temps voor my GPU/CPU?

    Thank you,

PS: Maybe my english is very bad, thats because i live in holland, and i'm not so good at english, sorry fot that :(

thats absolutely fine nothing to worry about. If you reach around 85 - 90 then its something to worry about.

Those temps seem fine. As with any laptop overlcocking i would suggest you buy a laptop cooler to be on the safe side.

I also have a go7300 and im interested in overclocking it. How much of a performace boost did you get? Do you know your new 3DMark05 score? What did you use to overlcock it?

    Thanks.

Well, i Normaly use 3Dmark03, because my CPU speed is to low for 3Dmark05,
With NO Videocard overclocking my 3Dmark03 score is 2633, When i clocked the card to GPU speed: 446MHZ and Memory speed to:806 MHZ my 3DMark score was 4022
I think thats a Great boost for my system.
For you i ran the 3Dmark05 and my score was 1788, Thats with overclocked card.

For the overclock i used the standard Nvidia Tool, its in youre stock Nvidia driver.

Cheers dude. Thats an awsome 3DMark score and beats rig! Grr  ;)

So when you overclocked did you just increase the Core/mem clocks by 10MHz and keep running 3DMark till artefacts appeared then lowered the clcoks? Did you increase core/mem together or seperately?

    Thanks.

    Thank You :)

I increased them by 6/7 HMZ, i did increase the core/mem together, then after increasing them i ran Rthdribl(program that pushes the card to its absolutly max) and then check for artifacts and overheating.
When not overheating or artifacts i increased the core/mem more, i can even set them higher, because even at this speed i don't see anything strange like artifacts ec.
