The C90S is a good machine but has a few problems, if your serious about it I would find a used one dirt cheap and many people who are not techy didnt want to mess with them and sell them, or wait for the C90P and see if all the minor issues that plagued the C90S have been solved.
I cant wait for Gophin to updateI wonder if my 11.2 second run gets me up there in the top spots. Probably not tho as an owner of the 45nm quads can pretty easily beat me and we have quite a few of them.

Tested again on wPrime v1.55. I didn't know you had to set the number of threads manually, since the newer version which I have been using does that automatically for you.

I have a dell vostro 1000 labtop and i am having problems with the fan turning on.
the fan only comes on when the labtop is very hot and it is messing up my game.
when the fan comes on the game play is good after 7 min but the computer takes a while to cool down.
is there any programs or a hack that will keep them on 100% of the time?
PS
I have taking this labtop apart and cleaned the fan and the gril.

I just re-tested my processor after a clean install of Vista Home Premium 64-Bit and Undervolting (Software Undervolt; RMClock):
Notebook:
Sager NP9262 (Clevo D901C).
Processor:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66 GHz (2,667 MHz), Front Side Bus Speed @ 1,330 MHz, L2 Cache of 12 MB, Undervolted from 1.250V to 1.150V. Stock Speed, no Overclock. Enhanced with Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound.
Results:
32M (Speed Test): 15 Seconds.
1024M (Stability Test): N/A.
I hope I get into the Hall of Fame!
Edit: Re-Did the wPrime Benchmark with no other processes using CPU Power this time and changed to Classic Windows Theme to run the benchmark (Not visible in the screenshot, I switched back to Aero just afterwards.). Squeezed the processor's max this time. -

Unfortunately the desktop doesn't have an internet connection out here so I can't post the picture until I get it saved to a thumb drive and drag it in to work but........

lol jisaac, it's funny how your low voltage L2300 is only 1 second slower at wprime than my 1.60ghz T2050... I need a new laptop
-
-
well that's mainly because mobile AMD chips are terrible lol
-
Specs in sig. wPrime shows the [email protected]/1197ghz (throttled), but its actually running at 3.06ghz. Vcore is incorrect as well.
-
lol how is yours 4 seconds faster then mine!

Here's my resuls, single core yet:

Not overclocked

It seems that the Hall of Fame isn't being updated anymore, or is this just because Gophn has been gone lately?
-
I'm not gone... just busy.
If someone can send me a spreadsheet or list on where i last left off, I would gladly update it.
Oh... and remember my note:
I will only add your score to the Hall of Fame if you submitted the results to HWbot.org (under Team NBR)... which will prove that its not a fake score. -

Jay: Nice lil machine there! I had a 701 but couldnt get used to the small screen. But the 901 seems to be a perfect balance! I'm seriously thinking of picking one up!

Awesome. If you're still updating this, put me up as the fastest dual core AMD desktop processor.
AMD Athlon64 X2 5000+ Black Edition overclocked to 3.2 GHz
wPrime 32m- 26 seconds.
Not bad for a $400 self-built desktop.

I can't install wprime on Vista. Something like "error code #25). Any ideas? Turn anything on or off?
Hey guys, By default, any thing I do in Vista asks me if I am sure. Have all of you disabled? Or am I missing why it is good? -
@ power pack ..
right click on it and then choose that u are the admin .. u will find it somewhere .. sorry i cant remember where iam on xp now -
@powerpack
you have to disable UAC in Vista before Wprime will work (that's what I did and that error message went away) -
relevance as a measure of performance in the current era of multi-core processors is diminishing quickly. As the calculation times become faster and faster, Super PI is also becoming a rather poor stability test due to the need for a stability test to run long enough to stress the hardware. This program does not utilize all of the multi-cores/processors when running the test... strange that most people still use this as a benchmark..
-
-
OK I tried the right right click. Diid not have the option of administrator. Maybe because I only have one profile. Anyway?
What is UAC and how do I turn off?
I really would like to run this and see how much better my T9400 does vs AMD 1.6Ghz? -
