    I am buying a 1gb Kingston 677 off newegg

and i cant find if it will be compatible. When i go to kingstons website they list a specific piece of memory for the inspiron notebooks. Can you tell me if this will work in my Inspiron E1505. It seems like it would work. Thanks

What model is the ram that you bought? Like PC4200, or PC5300, etc.

Sure. Just take note that if you use 533 RAM in your Dell your new 667 RAM will downclock to match the 533 mhz frequency. But I would guess you already know this and have 1Gb 667 RAM installed already.
