I have an Acer Aspire 1674WLMi with 1Gb memory, which has given me good service. Now I want to upgrade to 2Gb.

The only manual I have describes the Aspire 1670 series where it says that the 2x512Mb SODIMM modules can be replaced.

Armed with a screwdriver, I easily removed the bottom cover, and there was 1 512Mb module easily visible. But, there was no sign of the second 512Mb module.

Does anyone know how to access it? Otherwise I am limited to replacing a single module, giving me a max of 1.5Gb.

    Help and advice gratefully received.

Remove the keyboard, and you should be able to see the 2nd module as well (near the touchpad).
