I have an Acer TravelMate 4654LMi Pentium M 760, 2.00 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache, 1025 MB DDR2 (dual channel) mem, Intel GMA 900 graphics, 100 GB HDD,

I would like to upgrade the memory to 2 GB. The current memory has a latency of 4-4-4-12. If I install memory modules with tighter latency of 4-4-4-8, will my notebook handle the tighter latencies? (BTW, I'm looking at the OCZ PC4200 DDR2 1GB memory modules)

    Thanks

The tighter latencies is going to help increase performance and there should not be any compatibility issues.
