I am wanting to upgrade my memory to pc3200 1 gb. What are some experiences and what brands will be most compatable? I was looking at the Kingston. Will the value RAM work as well as the brand name.
Thank for the help

Kingston is good, I also recommend Crucial, Corsair and Kingmax. Stay away from house or generic brands.

Bought 1 stick of ocz 1gig pc3200 memory. Took out the installed 256meg stick and replaced with 1gig stick with no problems. Runs at cas 3 though, so may want to go for cheaper brand.

Corsair DDR400 and OCZ DDR400 are proven to work fine, and also improve the speed over DDR333 around 12-15% accross the board, including video( even with more CAS latency).

Could you give me the exact model or a place to buy. I am not exactly sure which ones work or not!

I have two of these corsair sticks

But these are CAS 3.0, not CAS 2.5 as listed
But OCZ is even sweet deal and it is real CAS 2.5 as reported in our forums

What is CAS 2.5 vs 3
thanks for the info
Would this be compatable
