In around a year from here, when my laptop won't be able to follow my needs, I will probably buy a desktop computer. I just love having a laptop, but I am craving for performance and I just don't wanna pay too much to get it.

However, I will not get rid of my laptop since the selling price won't be worth it. I would like to keep both a powerful desktop and a polyvalent laptop.

    Now, here's my question:
How could I use both computer and keep the main stuff (favorites, documents, pictures and music) synchronised?

I just want the stuff I'd use on both to be here at all time while movies and games would stay on the desktop's massive hard drive.

    Thanks in advance!

You can do that with GoodSync. I use it to sync work files while leaving games and media files on my desktop. I highly recommend it.
