    Is it possible to put Merom inside Aspire 5562?
    I've been reading the forum, but i couldn't conclude the issue.
    Another question, if my Acer Support in Indonesia doesn't have BIOS update to support Merom, could i download it from Acer Support in another country?

    i can't be sure that it will work without a bios update. if there is a bios update, it will most likely work. without one, i wouldn't know b/c i don't believe that model has been tested for drop-in compatibility. and i'm pretty sure you can download bios from other country sites.

    No taking my word as truth...

    I thought I saw on this forum where somebody had said that Acer had already released bios upgrades for either the Aspire or the Travelmate (maybe both?) which made the bios merom compatible.

    I *thought* I saw a post stating that. Might take some searching to confirm it.
