    Well.. I havent heard much about the subject in the last week or two.. Wasn't Merom supposed to be launched last week?

    Has anyone heard of it being in stores yet? I've looked around and still haven't found it. I'm about to buy a barebone laptop so I'd need to know if this processor/when this processor will be actually in stores..

    I heard .. september.. gah... :(

    Have not seen it in stores, but I have seen it in very small quantities on eBay.

    No merom isnt in stores yet. In fact the desktop version, conroe, is just now getting into stores. I wouldnt expect them to arrive at vendors, merom that is, wont be in stores til september or so(just a guess not an exact answer). Near my birthday time that is :D
