Has anyone here modified their internal notebook fans to spin faster? I recently overclocked my 7800GO and it is heating up quite a bit - still well within operating tolerance - but I would like a cooler system regardless. Fan noise isn't that big of a deal to me... is there a good method to speeding up the RPMs on these fans?

did you try some software control like speedfan: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

I wouldn't really advise doing hardware mods if you are not 100% sure of the internal circuitry, you might end up frying stuff. :)

Oh yeah... duh, SpeedFan. I used that on my old PC. I'll give that a shot, thanks. I'll look into i8Kfan if SpeedFan doesn't do what I want...
