    HI, I have jus bought a presario f500 and have installed vista on it so it will run games faster but im having trouble with the mic.... can someone help me with this please, thanks

    yeah the mic is switched on haha i tested the software and its all good but it just will not pick up anything.

    Will it not pick up anything, or is it just set so it does not play what it picks up?

    come on, describe your problem, we are no clairvoyants.

    What program do you use to record the audio. How do you know that your mic is turned on? Have you tried your soundcard tool? Have you tried an external mic, do you use an external or internal mic? ...
