Just recently my mic has been acting screwy. Dont know if this has anything to do with it, but I just changed my video drivers to laptop2go 160.04. Im using Audacity and my webcam progrem to test, so im sure its the computer. I set the recording level to about 23, with +0.0db, and it works, but i ahve to yell to get any audible playback. When I put it anywhere over 50, it will work then start to fuzz and them make that sound that your tv makes when theres no channel ( If u know what i mean  ). sometimes Ill change to volume input to 50 and the DB to 0.0 and then it will change itself back to 25. ???

Go to Control Panel>Sound>Recording: to see if there is the device named "Microphone" and see if there is a green checkmark is beside the icon.

    Try THIS Driver.

If not, try THIS Webcam driver. (the mic. may be included in drivers)
