So i have a card reader on my m1530 and i was wondering if i can put a microsd in it to have it act as an additional harddrive. Such as installing games, applications and w/e.

Would it be a good idea?

It will work, but it will be slow. Like, very slow. You are much better off installing those programs on your main drive; using the MicroSD is not a good idea.
