    Yes, it exists.
    The Asus 8gb Eee PC uses it.
    I'm guessing the 16GB will as well. But that's it. I doubt that they are going to make any bigger, or at least not anytime soon.

    But, I havn't come across somewhere selling just the SSD yet :S

    They're available on Newegg. However, the ones that I have seen offer no increase in performance over traditional mechanical drives. Seems to be a niche market so far...
