Ive noticed my Acer 6930Z has one available mini PCIe slot and I would like to put in a good sound card. Is anything on the market I could buy? Cannot find anything at Creative / M-Audio etc... Maybe eBay?

    Thanks!

there's no such a thing as a mini pcie sound card for obvious reasons, where would you connect i/o audio if it's an internal card? it doesn't make any sense.
All available solutions are external, either using usb or expresscard or pcmia.

most of the miniPCIe cards you see are using the USB component of the interface. The actual PCIe portion of the socket goes unused.

There are loads of external USB sound dongles, some of which are actually pretty durn good. But an internal card, haven't seen one.
