    I've been searching for a replacement CPU for a friends laptop computer but I'm begining to think they are no longer available.

    Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 754-pin Micro-PGA Package CPU. That's the 2.2GHz 1MB L2 Cache version.

    I'm based in UK, London.

    I have a amd mobile processor in my Voodoo M855, but its a 3200+, so its slightly slower than yours.
    I think the fastest amd mobile processor for that socket is the 3700+.
    You should try looking around, you can probably pick one up for cheap, cause they are pretty old.
