VR-Zone just leaked NDA information about upcoming 14nm Mobile Broadwell.

According to the leak, Broadwell X and Y processors will be introduced in September at IDF (Intel Developer Forum) this year. No mention of which X processors, but from the Y-series we have "5Y10", "5Y10a" and "5Y70".
The first number represent the first 5-generation Core processors, Y represent the Y-series amd the latter is still not disclosed what means.

Neat, but the dual-core 4.5w GT2 parts aren't exactly the ones I'm interested in. Just in time for new (fanless?) MacBook Airs, though.

Here is hoping the X-series will be good and be the one to replace the QM/MQ from past generations :)

And here's hoping that they keep their word and really lower workload temps this time ;) :p

The "X" is just the name. In fact, the Y series chips are named. A new category called "Core M": Intel lancera ses Core M gravés en 14 nm d'ici la fin de l'année

The rumor is that the X stands for a number. Rather than Core i3/i5/i7, it'll be Core 3/5/7.

I wonder if we will still get skylake in 2015, that is the major thing I want to know.

How much faster will the CPU and GPU be in the Retina MacBook Pros with Broadwell? Any battery life upgrades?

When will we see the mobile Broadwell i5s and i7s? If they're next year, then I'm going to go with Kaveri APU because I can't wait that long.

Imagine a Pentium 4 on the 14nm process.

CPU? Nothing to be concerned about. GPU, potentially worth the wait, not that the current Iris GPUs are bad.

Intel say mobile this year, do they mean all mobile, or just the low power stuff with only 2 cores?

I hoping for mobile quad core before Christmas, or is this to much to hope for and the mobile quads will be released at the same time as the desktop quads?

Ain't gonna happen until Intel really reworks the IVR which is the chief culprit for the heat.
    Intel must either:
    - add more phases, this reduces the load on individual phases thus reduce heat. I don't think they will do this because this will kill idle power consumption
    - eliminate the IVR and move back to traditional off-chip VRM assemblies. Not gonna happen since the IVR is the source of Haswell's power efficiency
    - more efficient IVR due to 14nm node or reworked design. Most likely outcome, however, I don't expect miracles, maybe an improvement of about 10%.
