Does anyone know where I can get a Mobile Core 2 Duo (one that would fit the socket 478 the Core Duo/Solo). I can't find a single place that sells it. Does a LV (Low Voltage) version of the Core 2 Duo exist?

Its not available yet. Most estimate availability in OEM systems by the end of August. Retail availability will be follow right after. There will be LV versions, again dont expect those to be out soon.

How much later are we talking about when it comes to the LV model?, super late Sept or next year? I kinda have my eye on putting one of these puppies into the Tx850 and see what happens if it doesn't pan out, IE I Burn a hole into my pants, I have a friend who would like the CPU. Also anyword if the Core 2 Duo LV version will be like the "E" Version of the Core Duo, IE will not have virtualization.

I wouldnt expect it any time soon given that the regular versions are taking their own sweet time. The regular 'T' series will be out of the door first. I think the LV versions will only arrive next year, which is probably the best estimate I can give you.

The LV's probably wont make it to the retail shelfs.
