I tried to run MobMeter on my laptop, but it doesn't even load, giving me an error "Failed to communicate with the ACPI Driver." I have a fairly recent (1 month) laptop, so it should support all the features. I'm using Vista Premium right now, and I already tried running it in various compatibility modes. Any help please?

    Thanks

It won't run under Vista. It has to run with admin rights I believe to have direct access to the ACPI to get the info. Vista prevents all this, the compatability modes won't emulate this properly(if it did there'd be no point).
