I have an MSI GS66 Stealth 10SGS with RTX 2080 Super MAX-Q and it has 80W TGP vBIOS.
I have flashed it with a 90W vBIOS from Razer Blade Pro 17 and it works perfectly.
Does anyone have a higher TGP vBIOS for RTX 2080 Super MAX-Q?

If that dont work ill jusrt email it. -
It looks like I already have that vBIOS (downloaded from TPU) and it only boost to 90W.

Do you have a option for dynamic boost in nvidia control panel? That needs to be enabled for it to draw the extra power.Idk if it's something only made for the ge66 but idk why you wouldn't be able to get it working,

Have you tried a full 150w mobile yet??I got one to flash on my max q but the clocks ended up locking up.
-
I coud not find any 150w vBIOS for RTX 2080 Super.
Can you post the one you have? -
No option for Dynamic Boost.

They're definitely around....I cleaned my files up but im sure ill find one..
I dont even wanna go down that hole again trying to turn max q to mobile haha I was always pissed off by the end cause nlo matter how close we got something got in the way of it working...Like the whole mismatch id thing, found a work round to still cross flash but now theres a error 43 in device manager keeping it from working....Turing is feeling like a lost cause -
If I was you right now Id look into getting dynamic boost to show up cause that's the bios for it.I think theres called nvpcf or nvidia platform controllers framework.ithat is tied to it

Since we are talking about power: Does anyone here own a GE75 Raider series with larger capacity 65wh battery. If so, could you see if there is a part # on the battery so that I can try to source one. MSI tech support acts like they never heard of this battery but it is listed in their configuration page. They won't provide a model # or sell one. Don't understand the "denial" on their part but I find it kind of disappointing. Since the batteries are in the same physical package and interchangeable, I would think anyone who is out of warranty or has battery issues would love to get the larger battery since it 27% more capacity.
Thanks in advance. -
Check out hidevolution...Idk if this is what you wanted but here's a start..
