Are there any laptops with better than 1280x800 resolution on a 14.1" or smaller? I love high resolution, but I also want a portable laptop.

I saw this Asus on Newegg with a WXGA+.

    Asus F8Va-B1

Besides that I've seen a toshiba somewhere that had WSGA+ as well but that's the highest it gets.

The Latitude E6400 and the HP Elitebook 6930p both offer 1440x900 in a 14.1" screen.

A lot of 14.1" offer an upgrade to WXGA+ (1440x900), but that's the highest resolution currently available in that size. Very few 13.3" offer any higher resolution options beyond the standard 1280x800. The exception is the Lenovo ThinkPad X300 and X301, both of which are 13.3" with a standard 1440x900 LED-backlit display....and a starting price tag of more than $1800!

Off the cuff, the following 14.1" are available with the 1440x900 display-

    Toshiba Tecra M10
    ASUS F8
Lenovo ThinkPad T400 (CCFL or LED)
    Lenovo ThinkPad R400
    Lenovo ThinkPad SL400
    Dell Latitude E5400
    Dell Latitude E6400 (LED)
    Dell Precision M2400 (LED)
    Dell Inspiron 1420
    HP Compaq 6510b
    HP Compaq 6530b
    HP Compaq 6535b
    HP Compaq 6910p
    HP EliteBook 6930p
