So I just got a call from Circuit City saying that my laptop is back and ready for pickup. I asked the Firedog tech if he was able to tell me what they ended up doing and he just said the motherboard just got replaced.

What can I expect when I get it back other than a working laptop?

Will all my Microsoft Office 2007, WoW, Sony Picture Motion viewer, and all my other programs still be on it? And since my graphics card was integrated, I"m sure they had to replace it that as well, any chance of a nVidia 6150 being unable to obtain so they had to give me a new one? (wishful thinking right?)

Why not just wait and see? Any posts here will just be speculation.
The graphics will not be upgraded though, I can tell you that much.

All of your programs are independent of the motherboard. All of your programs are actually stored on your hard drive, which they claim they did not replace, just the motherboard. Just wait and see! I think they may have given you some equivalent, but refurbished motherboard.

True, but many places will push a factory image onto the hard drive for basically no reason.

Then the linux program "testdisk" will help to recover the previous partition(s) on the hard drive. :D
