Ok, so I have 2 partitions on my hard drive. Both have about 88GB capacity. However, my D: partition is nearly full while there is still plenty of room on the C: partition. What I want to do is to move 12GB of space from C: to D:
![]()
However, after I shrank C: about 12 GB, I cannot move the unallocated space to D: (the expand option on D: is grayed out). Is there a way to assign the 12 GB of unallocated space to D: without any formatting/loss of data/etc?
Oh by the way, can I delete the EISA Configuration partition (windows doesn't let me do it for some reason) and also move that to D:? I know it's for creating backup discs but I already have an installation disc.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help. (Forum noob here) Will search next time.

the search function does work pretty well. Discussion on heavily asked questions, like cooling, hardware mods, partitioning, virtual machines, etc are all available.
