NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7 4900MQ,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-1763
hi everybody , here is my score on 3Dmark11 with GTX880M 4GB, intel i7 4810MQ, 8gb ram.
i checked that the normal average of those components should be between 8000 and 9000 pts. Someone in france got the same computer and benchmarked 8500, without any overclocking.
Need help, should i send back my computer?

It might be a good idea to visit the corresponding "Owner's Lounge" for your model here on NBR and ask our brothers there for help. You might get to find out what wrong with you setup that hinders your very powerful MXM card from getting what it should be getting on benchmarks.
The 62'C temp shows that the card isn't performing as how it should be doing on benchmarks. There could be several reasons ans the fact that we mostly solve our problems with the process of elimination, highly suggests that visiting your owner's lounge will greatly bebefit you.
I hope you're able to rectify the problem at the soonest possible time. Hope you can also find time to let people know what in fact it was that hindered your performance level so that others may also benefit from your experience. -
Thank you for your reply sunster168. I'm realy into that mission and of course i will share my experience to the other , positive or negative.
As i'm french, i don't really understand what do you mean by visiting "my owner's lounge"? -
this is the MSI section where all the owners post. you will get more response there MSI Forum
make sure you are set to high performance and not balanced.
also check your nvidia control panel and make sure the futuremark benchmark exe is set to run on "high performance nvidia processor"Attached Files:
