    Hi,
I'm looking into buying a new gaming laptop in the $1,500 range. I have my eye on the MSI GT72. I see the 1667 which comes with a 256 ssd installed and goes for $1,799. I'd rather not spend that much of possible. I then found the 1668 at Tigerd. Comes with no SSD but it's priced at $1,499. The only difference appears to be SSD. My question is how hard would it be for me to add ssd? Also if I was to purchase an SSD like the Samsung 850 M.2 Evo 500gb, how would I go about making that the boot drive for the OS?

You could do that... You'll need to reinstall Windows on SSD....
