I have msi gx70 for just 2 weeks...
It has 1tb 7200rpm HDD.
I noticed that hard drive is making noise almost every time when he is working...
I have special indicator light on laptop,so when HDD is working i can see...
For any case i opend it,and turn it on,and yes,hdd was making noise...
Its not SO loud, but its getting annoying and i start to worry...
Its working well, moving stuff from pc to usb fast and so on.
I run hard drive sentimental pro,and it show that it is 100% healthy...
Maybe someone knows why HDD is makig that scraching noise?
Maybe its just because of speed,or hdd is dieyng?
Thanks for help.

Is this your first system? Do other systems make similar HDD noises?
Do you know what model of HDD is in your new computer? -
Slurpy-scratching noise? Thats normal.
Crackling-buzzing noise? Thats unusual. -

Pencil over a table?
I don't think anything is wrong with your HDD. -
Yeah, thats normal noise from a 7200rpm drive. If its not clicking it should be fine.
