I've been using a 16GB Transcend SDCH card to transfer DVD .iso files (4-8GB) from my laptop to my HTPC. It had been working fine, but all of a sudden when I try to transfer anything bigger than about 3GB to the card I get a message saying the card doesn't have sufficient space, even though I deleted everything on it. This happens in both XP and Win 7 (i.e. on both the laptop and the HTPC). I tried formatting the flash card but it didn't work. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this, or is the card malfunctioning? If the latter, anyone know how long the warranty on these Transcend cards is? Bought mine just over a year ago.

Try format to NTFS. FAT32 has a file limit of 4GB.

why have you chosen an SD card and not simply networking?
