    My Cd drive randomly stopped working? Help.

    Okay this just happened yesterday for some reason.
    Its been about 2 weeks since i upgraded to windows 7 and my cd drive was working fine until yesterday. Now it just disappeared right off the devices and device manager list, it doesn't show up in the BIOS and i can't eject the cd drive either.
    Someone please help, why did this happen? Is it a software problem or my cd drive itself?
