    I ordered an e1505 from Dell with a 120 GB hard drive, but when I checked in the system, theres only 99.7 GB in the c:/ and 8.9 in the recovery. Am I missing something or did they give me the wrong hard drive?

    No its right

    you have a 120GB drive but as with all of these drives, only about 110GB is actually usable
