I wasn't quite sure where I should put this but I decided here would be one of the better places... If there's a more appropriate place please move it there.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone would let me know about how much better/worse in different areas the two different computers are. Aspects like gaming, graphics work, etc. are what I'm interested in the most.

    Thanks in advance,

    Reize

If you plan on gaming I would get a dedicated Video card. The 200M is not good for gaming at all.

Other than that I think the laptop will blow the desktop out of the water. :)

Thanks for your quick response USAF, I appreciate it very much. As for the video card I was just wondering how they compared not how well they performed really.

I play mostly older games and any newish games I play I don't mind putting at the very lowest settings as long as they're playable.

Also, are you referring to before or after the upgrades, or both?

the 200m might have trouble with newer games, even at its lowest settings..depends on what games, and what you consider playable.

    pb,out.

I know it plays all the games I plan on playing on it fine at playable settings, so that's not a problem.

I was just checking if it'd be better or worse than the 9200 in my desktop.

Sorry if I wasn't clear about that.

Yes, the BIOS in the V2000Z supports the switch to the Turion 64 MT-40, I'm positive of it.
