If you're running Vista, that 2GB of RAM is always nice. But since you already have 1.5, I don't know if it'll make that much of a difference...

EDIT: You did mean to say 1.5GB RAM right? Not 1.5GHz?

Pretty nice, the GPU could be better, i know because i hav that (read my signature) and am getting a new notebook in a few weeks, but it is ok. Yes, you will see a big difference with the extra RAM especially with Vista and more Premium with Aero. SInce you are playing games i reccromend 3GB or even 4GB. The 2 brand differences shouldnt matter, but wait for more replies on that because im not 100% sure. Good Specs. overall (nice Core 2 and HDD) Hope I could help

For gaming the GMA 950 will always be what holds you back. Buying a 2GB stick might be a good idea as you have IGP but if money tight not that big of a deal. Mixing brands not big deal should not be problem as mentioned above.

Oh, Core DUo, didnt notice that. That is a thumbs-down, but it is still pretty decent.
