anyone else out there have one and or put one together? this is more of a question for anyone that assembled one.

i was assembling mine, and the directions say to use screws on the keyboard from the top side, well, i look and looked and there is nowhere on the top side to do that. there are 2 holes on the bottom, and everything seems built corecctly, but i gotta be sure

I'm having a hard time finding a assembly guide for your Quanta so let me ask a few questions. Does it have three keyboard "latches" accessable from the front(between the keys) and 2 screws (M2.5x6L) on the back?

If so, the keyboard is installed from the top, then turn the notebook over and attach the two retaining screws.

Ok, this notebook uses a c cover instead. Also, the two front screws mentioned in the assembly guide are not there in the dissassembly, which leads me to believe they are an error. Especially since the dissassembly guide shows a picture of all the screws needed to remove the keyboard.

The only screws shown to actually be holding the kb in place are these:

good stuff :) thats what i figured too. i just had to get confirmation on it. and i wanted ask cause this keyboard is diferent than i am used too. it has alot of key travel, which i dont mind, but once in a while my fingers get suck as they move to the next keys since i type so fast. i just gotta get used to it i gues.
