    Hello,

I recently bought a lenovo N200, it came with a dual core processor, T2330.

the problem is that it is not speed stepping... I had a celeron before this and its behaving just like that.

I use NHC to monitor the clock speeds and temperature. Now in proper dual cores the NHC shows the processor clock varying between 800Mhz and 1600MHz depending on load.

But my processor just stays on 1600 MHz all the time, even when i choose "Dynamic switching" as processor speed..

Also I can not undervold my processor as the options in NHC for undervolting are greyed out..

    Now this worries me..

I thought this would be a step up from my celeron processor... Why is it acting just like my celeron processor?

    solutions please..

Have you checked Vista's power settings to ensure that it's not on Performance?
