I have some classic games like StarCraft, Total Annihilation and Worms World Party in my 5-year old desktop. Now I want to play these games in my Dell E1505. However, I didn't purchase a premium graphics card since I didn't have money at that time. Can the Intel GMA 950 be enough for StarCraft, Total Annihilation and Worms World Party? [My other laptop specs are listed in the signature.]

I used to play Starcraft on my old IBM 300MHZ computer with integrated graphics (up to 8mb I think) without any lag of any sort. I believe I had 32 or 64mb of ram (don't quite remember). I think your specs will be fine. I have never played the other two games but if they are as old as Starcraft they should be fine too.

You can play pretty much any game on a 950, its whether or not they look good thats another story, but playing it should not be a prob. Now as far as those games are concerned, the gma950 will do just fine with those games.

Think about it, if ur 5 year old desktop can handle them, then a core duo and intel gpu should definately do so also.

Hehe, yeah, even my OLD 500mhz with (i think) 8 mb integrated graphic or lower plays TA and StarCraft smooth most of the times. So your E1505 has PLENTY.

Starcraft doesn't even need 3D acceleration nor does total annhilation or worms. They use software acceleration.

I played those on my pentium 200 MMX with 64MB RAM and non-3D card (8MB). The good ol' days :p

Any built in graphics card can handle them (810 (P3) / 855 (PM) / 950 (Duo))
